Cartoon Characters Take Over Downtown Glace Bay

It was frigidly cold in downtown Glace Bay last Saturday, but the looks on the kids’ faces was enough to warm any Grinch’s heart. Sheldon Nathanson brought his full cast of cartoon characters out to give the kids a chance to meet some of their favourite animated stars. Everyone from Bart Simpson, to Kermit the Frog, to Dora the Explorer could be seen wandering commercial street. Pictured are Kendra Aucoin and Ainsley Edwards saying hello to Nemo, star of the movie Finding Nemo. There are more photos of kids with their favourite characters throughout this week’s issue.
